Awesome Quick Easy Service for a Great Price compared to dealerships

I have been having my 2012 BMW X5 and 2000 BMW 540i serviced by Bertinis for a number of years with generally good results - except for my most recent visit. I called on a Tuesday to have my 2000 BMW 540i scheduled for servicing on the Friday of the same week. I dropped off the car on Thursday afternoon with the following service needs: 1) headlight restoration; 2) installation of a damaged fog light; 3) check the cooling system because I had three instances of "high coolant temperature" and had to top off the coolant level; and 4) repair an oil and/or transmission fluid leak. Despite scheduling the service ahead of time, the car was not ready by the close of business on Friday and was retained over the weekend to be completed on Monday. Items 1 and 2 were satisfactorily completed. I was told that the cooling system was fine with no indication of problems, and the oil and/or transmission fluid leak was repaired (incidentally the car was previously serviced for a transmission fluid leak which was obviously not repaired successfully). The car has now overheated and has either damaged the radiator, the coolant intake repository, or connecting hoses and is inoperable and sitting in my driveway. I will have to call AAA and have it towed to be repaired. And BTW, the oil and/or transmission fluid leak continues. My only question is whether I should continue to do business with Bertinis after such and unsatisfactory experience. Please respond!

Nice people but competency is questionable. Had check engine light and took the car in & egr valve was replaced & immediately we had frequent extremely rough idling and no power on the freeway. Before repair the engine was smooth & powerful. Afterward junk. We brought it back & told the shop About it & our thought that the job done was faulty. The shop found nothing. We lived with it until the check engine light came on again in a few weeks. Another go round and broken vacuum hoses we found to?? U guesses it...the egr valve that was replaced. Now power is back but rough idle remains. We are likely to go elsewhere for such complex services as check engine lights & EGR valves as these issues are beyond skill sets at the shop and repeat returns can be costly and frustrating & never fully resolved. Nice folks but skill sets appear rather low.
